A grill on the Bosphorus does not smell like a street oven
In Istanbul grilling is mostly a street job. In Karaköy the charcoal sits in front of a shop, in the Beşiktaş market the smoke climbs, in Kadıköy the smell sticks to the pavement. This page does not repeat those streets. Here the charcoal is inside the shore: the wind takes the smell out, the water brings it back. The time on the meat follows the time on the route. One side turns off Ortaköy, the other as Kandilli opens. A cooking preference is written in the reservation note. New Year's Eve uses the same fire and costs 250 euro per person. 31 December is a separate tour, not a separate boat story.
